Wednesday, July 6 -- Day 15
Our day begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 2:00 PM
Bring a bag lunch. Drinks are available from vending machines for about $1.35.
Don't forget your Ecothing!
Your immediate family is invited to a reception and concluding program at 1:00 PM. Light refreshments and drinks will be served.
The cost of this year's T-Shirts is $9.50. You may pay for your shirt any time. T-shirts will be distributed before lunch.
Notebooks, Journals, and Herbarium Collections (Wildflower Collections for 2nd-year participants) will be submitted at noon for a final evaluation.
Tuesday, July 5 -- Day 14
Enjoy your 3-day weekend! We will NOT have class on Monday, July 4 !

The cost of this year's T-Shirts is $9.50. You may pay for your shirt any time. T-Shirts will be available Wednesday morning.

Wednesday, June 29 -- Day 11
Our day begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 3:30 PM on Friday, July 1
We will be stopping for a fast food lunch on our way to the New River Gorge. You may also pack a lunch if you prefer.
You may want a small amount of spending money for snacks, drinks, souvenirs, etc. at our stops on Wednesday and Friday.
Use the camping checklist !! Sunscreen and insect repellent are a must.
If you need props and equipment for the Talent Show, be sure to bring them.
You should keep your notebook at home this weekend -- we will be checking notebooks and journals on Tuesday, July 5.
Tuesday, June 28 -- Day 10
Our day begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM
Bring a bag lunch with a drink for picnicing at Douthat State Park.
We will be in the field: forestry practice, vernal pools, and geocaching. Dress appropriately -- walking shoes are essential. Don't forget rain gear!
If you haven't yet done so, please bring back your backpacks -- clean, empty, dry, and all pocktes neatly zipped closed for storage.

Monday, June 27 -- Day 9
Our day begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM
Bring a bag lunch. Drinks are available from vending machines for about $1.35.
Please bring back your backpacks -- clean, empty, dry, and all pocktes neatly zipped closed for storage.
The cost of this year's T-Shirts is $9.50. You may pay for your shirt any time.
Notebooks and Journals will be submitted at the end of the day.
Wednesday, June 22-- Day 6
Our day begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM on Friday, June 24
Bring a bag lunch, including a drink. We will be picnicing at the Locust Springs trailhead before beginning our trek. You may also purchase a drink at "Henry's" in Greenbank.
You may want a small amount of spending money for snacks, drinks, etc. at our convenience store stops on Wednesday and Friday.
Use the backpacking checklist !! Especially important are rain gear, warm clothes, and a change of clothes tied up in a plastic bag to be left in the van for Friday when we get back to the trailhead.
Tuesday, June 21-- Day 5
Our day begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM
Bring a bag lunch, including a drink. We will be picnicing on the Cowpasture River.
Be sure to bring "river" shoes for wading in the Cowpasture River.
Bring plenty of sunscreen!

Be sure to bring "river" shoes for wading in the Jackson River. Bring plenty of sunscreen!
Friday, June 17 -- Day 3
Our day begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM
Bring a bag lunch. Drinks are available from vending machines for about $1.35.
Bring one or more T-shirt Designs.
Notebooks and Journals will be submitted at the end of the day.
Thursday, June 16 -- Day 2
Our day begins at 19:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM
Bring a bag lunch, including a drink. We will be picnicing at Roaring Run
Dress for the weather. Wear good walking shoes: we will be walking about 2 miles.
Bring a water bottle for the hike.
If you want to join the Polar Bear Club, wear swimming clothes underneath your regular clothes. There are no changing rooms at Roaring Run!
If you are using your own backpack for our backpacking trip, please bring it for inspection.
Wednesday, June 15 -- Day 1
Our day begins at 10:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM
Meet in Room 375.
Bring a bag lunch. Drinks are available from vending machines for about $1.35
Dress for the weather. Wear good walking shoes: we will be doing a good bit of walking around campus.
